Retirement Benefits Designs, LLC is an employee benefits consulting and administration firm for qualified
and non-qualified retirement benefits plans for businesses and tax-exempt organizations. We have many years of extensive experience in customized and cost-effective retirement benefit plans tailored to the
employers' objectives and demographics.
 

We specialize mostly in consulting and compliance services for defined contribution plans, such as: 401(k) and profit sharing plans, and 403(b) and 457(b) plans.

OUR GOAL is to assist employers in attracting and retaining valuable professionals and to provide incentives for the employees to save for a comfortable retirement. Our personal approach combined with the high expertise and quality of our services ensures that our clients meet the retirement savings objectives of their organizations. We are completely insured and qualified to provide nationwide administration services for pension plans.

Kalinka Doneva, QPA, QKA

Principal

 

Kalinka has provided retirement benefits administration and consulting services for over 29 years. Prior to founding Retirement Benefits Designs, LLC, Kalinka was a Senior Manager for many years in the retirement benefits department of a national accounting firm in New York City. In that capacity, Kalinka provided client consulting and administration management services for a large number of clients of various sizes and a wide variety of retirement plans.

Her expertise includes: retirement plan document designs and implementation; compliance assistance to plan fiduciaries; non-discrimination testing; plan administration, plan document amendments and restatements; assistance in plan audits by the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service, fiduciary compliance, plan terminations and mergers, self-correction and voluntary correction programs for defined contribution plans.

Kalinka has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) since 2001 and has achieved the Society's designations of a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) through extensive studies and exams related to retirement benefits plans. Kalinka is also a member of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, the Society for Human Resource Management and various other business and professional organizations.
